Lake Nipissing Canada Fishing Trip

Catch Footage from a week in Canada on lake nipissing in south bay Ontario.

In this video we are looking at a popular fishing hole, where the Birkenhead River and Lillooet Lake meet. This time of year there is a ton of Sockeye Salmon making there way into the Birkenhead River. This in turn brings lots of Hungry Trout along with them in anticipation of the spawn. 1. From what I’ve read in the Freshwater fishing regulations, you can fish for Salmon below the bridge at Owl Ridge and there is no retention for Trout or Salmon. Birkenhead river is catch and release, no bait and has a single barbless hook rule in place. It is still a very fun river for Catch and Release

  2. Can u fish there or is there a closed season for sockeye and can u keep does fish or its catch and release and is there a limit for trout there i think ill go the to fish for sockeyes cuz i havent caught a salmon this year im looking forward on catching my first salmon for this year and can i use bait like salmon roe in egg sacks plz reply
