  1. I do like dragon fly nymphs. My favorite is Stillwater
solutions/selections(Phil rowleys patterns) drag queen and grizzly Dragon
nymphs patterns. They’re tied with foam bodies and heads. Perfect to fish
with a type 6 line and short leader draging off the bottom. Just wish I
    brought my fly rod..

  2. I’m from Prince George and I made my way back from Vancouver through
Pemberton area and had the pleasure to camp at mosquito lake. Very close to
Ivey lake if I’m not mistaken. I arrived late but with only an hour of
fishing early morning I caught and released a 16 incher and two 12 or so’s.
I was casting off a fallen tree that was floating in the lake by the rec
site. I fish for the wild blackwater trout in the blackwater river up
north. Happy to see these fish are as feisty as the wild ones.

  3. Glad to hear you had a good time. I’ve caught Rainbow Trout in Ivey lake up
to 30″ and regularly in the 20-24″ range. For the “Big Boys” use the
biggest ugliest Dragon Nymph you can find…..
